On April 8, 2024, the whole city stopped for a bit. Even though NYC only got a partial eclipse, it felt like everyone was in the same headspace for those few minutes. I walked the streets to see people looking up, sharing glasses, and just being quiet together. The joy on the sidewalk was real.
